Hey there… I’m Marian. Are you feeling overwhelmed with classroom management? Classroom management strategies are everywhere, and it is hard to know which to implement when building your classroom management plan. Engaging Curiosity it here to empower you to remove the chaos, renew engagement, and reclaiim your free time. I provide best practice strategies and resources to support you as you create classroom communities, establish classroom expectations and rules, develop classroom routines, teach social emotional learning, implement differentiation in classroom strategy, and support a growth mindset classroom. These resources are strategically designed to support you in your classroom management goals.

So many teachers struggle with what is classroom management and why is it important. My passion is helping others to understand how does classroom management affect learning. I support others in building classroom communities, incorporating strategies for differentiation in teaching, and establishing classroom routines all of which are strategies for student engagement. By creating student engagement, curiosity and motivation become the classroom norm. Integrated throughout all of this, of course, are activities for growth mindset, and instruction in social emotional learning through both instruction and social emotional learning activities. Showing what are classroom management strategies and providing tools to support other teachers is now my passion. Incorporate games, interactive instruction, movement, free time, open ended play, writing provocations, outside instruction, PBIS, natural consequences, and laughter! Lots of laughter. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Learning Disabilities, and a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Grades. Additionally I have a Post Bac Diploma in Special Educaition, and a Diploma in TESL to Adults.
