TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I teach grades 1-6 General Music and 5-6 Chorus, as well as a 5-6 Glee Club. I also direct a 5-6 Musical every year. I am currently in my 9th year teaching.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I try to utilize both the Kodaly and Orff philosophies in my teaching. Every lesson in every grade has both a melodic and rhythmic focus with listening lessons, instruments, and many games throughout!
