TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught elementary school for 9 years, and taught 3-5 year-olds and adults for 10 years before that. Now I've spent the last 9 years writing over 50 books for kids, developing education materials and curriculum for teachers, and substitute teaching K-12 for fun. The materials I'm currently creating actually connects students/learners with paths that lead to their OWN PERSONAL GOALS and dreams!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I incorporate reading, writing, math, science, social studies and character education into every lesson I teach or write. I use differentiated text and materials for my students, and I use many 100% engagement techniques. I'm enthusiastic about teaching, and it rubs off on students. I try to teach everything in the context of real life, connecting the topic to the students and to the world.
