Teacher within the New York City Department of Education for nearly 9 years with experience ranging from Kindergarten through the 6th grade. Experience within self contained dual language classroom setting with the 50/50 model as well as side by side model and roller coaster model. Presently working at a recognized school for dual language education. I'm an advocate for bi-literacy and bilingualism as it is imperative to have language experiences that foster multiculturalism and tolerance.
