TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hello Fellow Teachers! I'm Molly. Welcome to my store Elementary Lesson Plans, which is run under my business Classroom Confections®. I am a teacher, and I also have a passion for creating fun and engaging teaching materials. I started teaching in 1993, which means I have been in education for approximately 30 years. Over the years I have been in many different positions, which are listed below.

►In My Classroom

It is my goal to maximize learning in the classroom. I try to consider the learning styles of my students when planning. Because of that, I adjust my teaching style accordingly. I would say I implement a balance of instructional methods. You may find me giving direct instruction, while also incorporating hands-on interactive lessons. You would find students in my classroom talking and interacting. There would be a combination of whole group, small group, and partner activities. You would find remediation and enrichment. I strive to keep my lessons fun and engaging while helping students master the standards.

I am not only a teacher, but I am a mom and wife. My husband of 29 years is also a teacher. He is on his 30th year of teaching. We have 3 children. They are 25, 23, and 12 years old. In addition to teaching and creating educational resources, I love to walk, watch reality tv, and watch my kids play sports. I also enjoy coffee and shopping.
