Math is a difficult subject to teach, too many kids are frankly frightened and frustrated about math. I love math but my favorite is fractions. I heart fractions all day long. I also love helping teachers. I'm the type of teacher that shares ideas, tips, and resources with anyone in the school building. I just want teachers and students to be happy and love what they do.
Our classroom truly reflects a community of learners. Each year, we become one large family. The classroom is a welcoming and safe place where students not only learn but have fun. I have been an educator since 2002! I have taught 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. Teaching has always been my passion! I am always learning new tools and strategies.
