Erica Leggiero, M.S. Ed. has been working and teaching in the field of early childhood education for over 8 years. Erica is currently the director and teacher at a Preschool Enrichment Program in her area. Erica believes that young children learn best through play and exploration, and she is constantly looking for new and creative ways to incorporate learning through play. She embraces this belief in all of the activities she creates in her preschool classroom, and loves sharing them with parents of preschoolers.
Learning should be fun, and for preschoolers, that means learning through play. There are so many rich experiences that can be set up in a play-based learning environment and at my preschool, we get a lot of that!

I am a wife and mom. I enjoy reading, taking pictures of hummingbirds, spending time outdoors, and providing resources on my blog for other preschool families. Teaching and researching all things preschool is my passion. I love keeping up with the current early childhood education research, and learning all about the minds and bodies of our preschoolers!
