My name is Sethi and I am originally from Belgium. After finishing my studies in Early Childhood Education and Special Educational Needs I worked in various schools in Belgium before deciding to move to Thailand. Once here I spend my first year abroad as a volunteer, before going back into teaching. I have now been working for a number of years as a full time Year 1 Classroom teacher and teach Computer Science to Years 7 and 8. I have always had a real passion for Technology and the use of technology withing education. And I am now in my seventh year as the ICT/CS Subject Leader at our school. I love learning new things and also keep maintain a website(http://eduflip.net) with tutorials, screen-casts and useful links in regards to the use of Technology in Education. You can find all my online training's and videos on YouTube by following this link: https://www.youtube.com/c/flippedclassroomtutorials Which will take you to the Flipped Classroom Tutorials Channel.
I am very much a big fan of hands on activities. Outdoor learning and getting away from tables and classrooms is what I like to do best. When it come to the use of new technologies in class I am all for the integration of a blended learning model in which the class teacher shares resources freely with the children and parents, promoting collaboration and communication.
