I have been in love with fifth grade for the last fifteen years. During those fifteen years and all within fifth grade, I have taught TEAM/STEM, ESOL, EFL, Reading, Writing, and Language Arts.
All children are different and they all learn in different ways. I am a big believer in multiple intelligences and that there is a way to reach all through technology, differentiated instruction, and hands-on activities.
I have been the recipient of several different honors and awards, including being nominated for Teacher of the Year twice, but my biggest honors are letters from former parents and students that confirm that the time they spent in my class has made an impact in their lives. Those are honors that I will cherish forever.
