Educate Tomorrow's Parents

I am Randi Rubenstein - Founder and Executive Director of Educate Tomorrow's Parents (ETP). Inspired by my experiences as a foster and adoptive parent, I have drawn upon my background in public health to create this nonprofit and empower teens to make healthy choices before creating the next generation of children and families. With my program "Healthy Foundations for Future Families" my goal is to educate young people about parenting responsibilities before they conceive a child. My colleagues and I have instructed over 9,000 teens in public and private schools and in foster youth programs.

Master of Science degree in Public Health from UCLA, Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from University of Illinois. * Completed 190 hours of parent education while maintaining foster parent license. * Completed train-the-trainer programs for Attachment Parenting and Safe from the Start. * Certified as North Carolina Qualified Professional Parenting Educator. * Prior to founding ETP, I held senior-level roles in several health research and education organizations.

Using my public health background and business experience, my goal is to provide a blend of health and planning perspectives for pre-parenting education.
