Over 15 years of classroom teaching experience in grades 2 through 5 with endorsements in gifted and K-5 math education and subject-area certification in English Language Arts and Social Studies (K-8). Doctoral candidate in educational policy and professional learning. I've been featured in Georgia Department of Education ELA trainings related to Digital Literacy and Writing Instruction, and I have presented on assistive technology and Google tools at the Georgia Educational Technology Conference. I've presented local professional learning on math instruction, writing, technology integration, and ELA best practices.

I have a PhD in Educational Administration and Policy from the University of Georgia. I am also a three-time graduate from Michigan State University with a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Teaching with a concentration on childhood literacy. I also received a B.A. in Elementary Education with teaching cognates in English Language Arts and Social Studies and a B.A. in English with cognates in Environmental Studies, International Relations, and Economics.
