Being an effective therapist is tough work! When I got out of graduate school, I felt like a fish out of water. I felt like there were expectations to fulfill the need for emotional healing, foster corrective experiences, and provide high-quality & unique resources. This realization scared me to no end! It felt overwhelming and unattainable. How could I do this? What could I use to guide me? Sure, some sites offered a few free resources... but they were so bare-bones! And then there were universal databases, but they were a lot of moola out of my already dry pockets. Therapy resource subscription services can add up to $300 plus or more. That's just dejecting. Every day, I meet clients who know more about mental health and its resources than the average "Carin' Sharon"! Chances are your clients do too. I get it. The "5 Senses" technique is effective. "Box Breathing" is a basic necessity. Self-care is sublime. And... everyone knows about these already! So what's a professional carer to do? I spent my time creating these tools so you can spend your time (and valuable dollars!) doing other things that you value :) I hope these are helpful to you & I am open to any feedback, needs, or suggestions you care to share with me.
