I've been teaching since 1991. My teaching experience includes nine years of public school Spanish (8-12), one year of private school English, health, and yearbook (9-12), one year of university Spanish, three years of homeschool co-op Spanish (elementary and middle), and homeschool preschool through second grade.
In a nutshell, eclectic. For classroom foreign language teaching, I prefer a mixture of total immersion with carefully guided kinesthetic activities and English clarification. For homeschooling, I greatly favor the Charlotte Mason approach with multisensory standalone subjects. In our home, we use Tapestry of Grace as our core curriculum, Apologia for science, Math-U-See for math, and La Clase Divertida and SALSA for Spanish.
