I currently teach on level and inclusion 9th grade Biology in Marietta, Ga. I taught 7th grade life science for two years, before returning to school to earn my Masters degree in Biology Education. Upon graduation, I accepted a position teaching Biology and Zoology and plan to stay at the high school level for as long as they will keep me!
I utilize the flipped classroom, meaning my daily lessons aim to be hands on and engaging tools for knowledge application. I am a huge fan of technology and try to incorporate various virtual labs and web activities into many of my units. My goal is for my students to leave my classroom feeling as though they have learned something that is both interesting and meaningful!

I am married to a soldier in the US Army and a mom to two amazing little boys! My life is busy and crazy, but it's my kind of perfect :)
