TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for twelve years at the high school level. I have taught Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry and Statistics. I have spent the most years teaching Geometry and Statistics.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe we learn best when we can work with others and are not sitting in isolation. It is my goal to have my students talking with one another and learning the mathematical concept together instead of listening to me lecture. It is important that I incorporate a lot of activities into my lessons to keep students' attention.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am passionate about teaching and building relationships with my students. I enjoy seeing the light go off in their heads when they finally understand something they have been struggling with. I love working with other teachers and sharing ideas to make lessons better and better.
