TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching all subject areas from K-8 . I completed my undergrad at the University of Toronto, majoring in Philosophy with a minor in Religion. I graduated in 2006 from Canterbury Christ Church University in England. My experience also includes teaching Fifth Block, ESL and Special Education and trained in Direct Instruction. The last 3 years I have been teaching Grade 6 and now can say I have some solid Online Distance teaching experience since the Pandemic started!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach the Ontario Curriculum working from a starting point that begins with the student's interests. My desire is to have engaging lessons while providing relevant and real life experiences while having fun! Creating a culture of Kindness, Empathy, and Compassion is also very important to me.
