By Creative Heroes a jazzy way to learn I was Oliver Twist in the second grade musical, since then I've had many rock bands, sung in countless jazz bands and big bands. My formal education (BA) came through studying Jazz Composition and Arranging with a principal instrument of voice at Berklee College of Music in Boston. My MA Ed. Creative Arts in Learning comes from Lesley University in Cambridge Massachusetts. After graduation I taught everything from private voice lessons to pre K- Kindergarten music and movement, middle & high school performance and Jazz performance as a Specialist, and 10 years as a college professor teaching for Undergrad and Graduate level.
Interactive, confidence building and clear. I engage students in many singing and movement activities- I lead one heck of a sing along!
