I was a substitute teacher for 10 years at the elementary school level. For the past 7 years, I have been working as a Special Education team member.
I always try to keep my students engaged by modifying the subject material to their specific levels. I like to approach students with a positive attitude and a pleasant smile. :) I try to be their "biggest cheerleader"!

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / Accounting from Bryant University.
Out of college, I worked as an accountant. After unforeseen events in my life, I needed to find a more flexible job with fewer hours. With my children in school, I thought having a job for the same number of hours that they were in school each day would be ideal. I began substitute teaching. I found that I really enjoyed working with children more than I enjoyed working with numbers!! After 10 years as a substitute teacher, I became part of the Special Education team at an elementary school where I love working.
