TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am in my second year as a school-based counselor. I do individual and group therapy sessions focused on self-esteem, behavior, social skills, ability to stay on task, character education, etc. I am currently in an elementary school grades Pre-k-6.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Communication is the key! I love to work very closely with the students teachers and parents, because guess what! Kids don't exist in a vacuum :) I love to provide, fun activities for kids to enjoy. A lot of students don't love seeing the counselor, so I try to make it as fun and enjoyable as possible while celebrating the strengths of the child!
