TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught kindergarten, pre-first, first, and second grades. I've also taught special education students, grades K-6. Currently, I am loving working in the dual roll of working with students in Resource/RTI and Title 1 settings . As a district trainer, I have conducted workshops for teaching math concepts and strategies, as well as reading (4 Blocks model, Harcourt) and writing (Step Up to Writing, Six Traits.) I truly enjoy working with students and teachers to integrate the creative use of technology in learning. Currently, I am immersing myself into developing teaching materials that target specific skills and address the components of The Common Core.
