TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught 3rd grade for 7 years, 5th grade for 1 year, and 4th grade for 3 years. I absolutely love teaching and cannot imagine myself doing anything else. I enjoy creating engaging and hands-on materials for students! My dream is to be a mentor and teaching coach to other teachers. I look forward to seeing where this journey leads me.

My teaching style is very hands-on. My goal is to create a safe and engaging environment for all of my students. I challenge each student to do their personal best always! I love what I do!

I graduated from Bethel College in 2006 and went on to get my Masters in Education at Walden University. I am always trying to learn new and innovative ways to teach.

I have 2 wonderful boys that are 13 and 10! I love spending time with them and seeing them grow! They keep me busy at baseball and football games! Time is flying by and I am trying to live in the moment. I am excited to see where this journey takes me to help me to better support my family.
