MY TEACHING STYLE

As a teacher I love to use stories to bring learning to life. To help bring spelling to life, and provide the context for phonics to make sense, I wrote a set of picture book style stories full of focus sound words to teach the many different ways sounds in words are spelled. A range of story based activities complement the stories and help to develop skills in phonemic awareness, phonics and grammar, writing and reading comprehension. Make sense of crazy English spelling and make spelling a happy time for all!
