TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently in my eighth year of teaching. I have taught 1st and 5th Grades. I had an amazing first year teaching first grade where we did tons of fun activities, many of which you can find in my store. After a great first year, I was moved to 5th grade. I have a master's degree in Educational Technology, so I love to use technology to boost rigor and engagement in the classroom! I love all things learning, and push every day to make it FUN for students! Follow my shop to keep up to date on all the new and exciting things we are doing in our classroom to keep learning ALIVE!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I think students learn best when they are having fun, so we have a lot of fun in my classroom. I started my teaching career in 1st grade where I learned just how important fun hands-on activities are to student learning. After being moved to 5th grade, my thoughts on this have not changed. I still think kids learn best through inquiry, experiences, and hands-on activities!
