Description

The ORIGINAL Daily Spiral for 5th grade Math! *Now updated with a DIGITAL TpT Version as well as PDF* A whole year of spiral instant activities! Completely aligned to Common Core Standards! These can be used as instant activities, Do Nows, daily warm-ups, homework, or quizzes. These review sheets gradually introduce standards and then review them constantly throughout the remainder of the year.

This pack contains 100 review sheets, with 4 problems per sheet. *Answer Key Included*

The corresponding standards are listed below each problem. Also includes a Standards Index where the review sheet #'s addressing each standard are listed beside the Standards. (You can see the Standards Index in the preview, and see how the standards are introduced and revisited)

I created this for my classroom, so that I can be sure my students do not forget content we have covered throughout the year. I use these as instant activities, which the students start as soon as they enter Math class. This also gives me a few minutes to check homework and get the day's lesson ready.

Although these are great for 5th Grade Instant Activities, they would also work great as weekly quizzes or a review for 6th Grade. Check out the preview to see more!

Convert among different-sized standard measurement units within a given measurement system (e.g., convert 5 cm to 0.05 m), and use these conversions in solving multi-step, real world problems.
Make a line plot to display a data set of measurements in fractions of a unit (1/2, 1/4, 1/8). Use operations on fractions for this grade to solve problems involving information presented in line plots. For example, given different measurements of liquid in identical beakers, find the amount of liquid each beaker would contain if the total amount in all the beakers were redistributed equally.
Recognize volume as an attribute of solid figures and understand concepts of volume measurement.
A cube with side length 1 unit, called a “unit cube,” is said to have “one cubic unit” of volume, and can be used to measure volume.
A solid figure which can be packed without gaps or overlaps using 𝘯 unit cubes is said to have a volume of 𝘯 cubic units.
