TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching music for 10 years. I started my career teaching in a high school, transitioned to a private studio, and now I am teaching general elementary school. It has been a blast creating resources for such a wide variety of students! I was an itinerant teacher for several years, so I know how it feels to keep all of my teaching materials in my car. However, this year, I am so pleased to have a home-base, a classroom of my own! I hope I can share helpful resources for teachers who have their own classrooms, teachers who teach from a cart, and teachers who move from building to building!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love interactive teaching. I want my music students to make music every class. An ideal lesson would have the students out of their seats, moving to music, responding, composing, and collaborating with each other as they learn musical concepts.
