Chalk Genie

Welcome to our store. We are teachers who love teaching and creating resources. We have been producing resources for TPT since 2019. We are in the process of rebranding to include other designers and educators. We are working on this at the moment to ensure that all resources contain the 'Chalk Genie' Logo. We are passionate about teaching and learning and feel privileged to be teachers. We believe education should be both fun and informative. We want our students to enjoy learning and use these skills enabling them to have a rich and fulfilling life. Please ask if your resource is not here. We also make to order at no extra cost. We just love making resources.

I think teachers have to have a tool kit that encompasses a variety of teaching styles. We have to be multi faceted and able to teach a variety of different students with a variety of different needs. The focus - always on progress and attainment.

A couple of memorable moments have happened in my career so far: 1 Meeting an ex student who was now a GP and cites me as being her influence. 2 Meeting an ex pupil with autism who is now in a successful job. I was his form tutor and he thanked me for all my hard work with him. These are the sort of moments when we are made to feel proud and thankful. They don't happen every day but, when they do, it is amazing.

Degree - BSc (hons) in Biological Science with Sports Science. Teaching Qualification - PGCE in Biology and Chemistry. Leadership Qualification - NPQSL.
