I have been teaching in the special education field for eight years. I currently work with adult students (18-22) to develop their life skills, vocational skills and personal financial literacy skill set.
I mainly teach in the using a hands on or demonstrator style of teaching. Additionally, I like to supplement my teaching with real-world and practice worksheets students can relate to as they are relevant to their everyday lives. The focus of my curriculum is functional academics, independent living skills, transition skills and IEP awareness.
