I taught all subjects in third grade for almost 10 years - though ELA and social studies have my heart. I currently work as an academic coach in grades K-6, and I absolutely love working with teachers and kids at every grade level!
My teaching style can be best summed up by my business's name: Simply Teaching Well. I think that any teacher can be a great teacher when they have great resources that are simply to implement so that they can do what only a teacher can do - and that's teach! So, my products may not have a ton of borders or clip art. What you WILL find is what you'd find in my own classroom - great content, simple design, and a real passion for making a difference in kids' lives. (And you still get to have a life!)
I was honored to serve as Tennessee's 2016 Teacher of the Year. Along with that, I've served on lots of education policy advisory groups, such as Governor Haslam's Teacher Cabinet and Commissioner McQueen's Teacher Advisory Council.
