Cathie Perolman Educational Materials

Hi! I'm Cathie Perolman. I'm a reading specialist, elementary educator, author, consultant, and creator of educational materials for primary and elementary students. I noticed that many classrooms have less than optimal Reading Materials often due to the time and energy it takes to create them. Using my skills as an educator and my knowledge of the learning-to-read process, I decided to create interesting materials that could be easily used for early readers. For more than three decades I've dedicated my energies to improving reading for all youngsters. I've served as a Montessori teacher trainer, school consultant as well as a classroom teacher. I conduct workshops for teachers and administrators throughout the United States and have previously taught at the college level. I consult with teachers of all levels and enjoy advising students in training and supporting recent graduates.

I hold a BS in Early Childhood Education and a M.Ed. in Elementary Education with a concentration in reading. I'm also a retired Montessori teacher after 30+ years of teaching. creator of Hands on Phonics, a phonics-based system of teaching reading to young children.
