Carefree Curriculum

I have taught middle and high school physical science, biology, chemistry, and physics here in Ohio!

I like to use guided notes that are easy for students to read, but that also provide them with the opportunity to add their own thoughts and ideas. I also like to use hands on, inquiry based laboratories and fun activities to help reinforce the concepts in an engaging way. I am always looking for activities and demonstrations that will get students excited about science! I also believe that the nature of science is a crucial aspect of any science curriculum, so I try to incorporate NOS into my lessons whenever I can.

B.S. Education (7-12 science); M.A. Chemistry. Most of my graduate research was focused on content knowledge and pedagogical content knowledge of science teachers. My research opened my eyes to how much science teachers (especially new teachers) are struggling with science teaching. My goal is to provide a comprehensive, rigorous, - and most importantly - carefree science curriculum to any teacher that is in need or that is simply looking to try something new!
