TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a teacher for 15 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a Science Pirate! I will steal time wherever I can to introduce my students be they 4th or 1st to the wonderful world of science. I have seen Science education slowly change from a challenging hands-on graded course to little more than a mention in our scripted day. This prompted me to come up with Science stations that my first graders to do on their own. I have written several books for them and used them with great success last year in my class. A colleague prompted me to put them up on this site so now I do. I use the mantra "Whatever it Takes!" to help my students reach their potential.
