TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching in elementary schools for 6 years in Utah and Colorado! My experience has been in grades pre-k, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade. I have also taught Spanish Immersion in Kindergarten and 1st grade.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that teaching should reach all learners. My style is to include a variety of teaching strategies and experiences so that all students can benefit and receive instruction in the way that they need. I use lots of kinesthetic activities, visuals, cooperative learning, and guided practice to help students achieve and comprehend the content. I also believe students should have fun while learning and my style includes a variety of activities so students are engaged.
