I have been teaching for 4 years. In those 4 years, I have taught every grade K-3. I have bounced around a lot, but have used those different experiences to really help define me as a teacher. I am always learning and growing as a professional.
I am a huge supporter of PBIS. I love the way my classroom runs when everyone, including myself, is being positive during our interactions with each other. I strive to reward and encourage positive behavior, rather than constantly disciplining the negative behavior.
Yet to be added
I grew up in a small town in California, where I went through the public school system. I graduated from high school is 2010, and went on to University of the Pacific, where I received my bachelors degree and credential. I began teaching at 22, in the same school district I attended as a kid.
I wanted to be a teacher before I ever stepped foot in a classroom. I played school in my bedroom when I was 4 years old with my baby sister, sitting in her crib, as my student. I have never doubted my love for teaching and have really enjoyed every single day with my students, even the bad days!
