I am an elementary librarian/media specialist. I have worked as school librarian since 2000. Prior to finding my niche in the library I taught 6th grade for 2 years and 4th grade for 5 years.

In 2009 I was honored to be named Teacher of the Year for my school. In 2013 I also became my district's Media Specialist of the Year. In 2020 I was named Exemplary Media Program of Georgia.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I earned my B.A in Elementary Education at Howard University in Washington, D.C., my Masters in Elementary Library Media and Technology at Georgia State, and my Specialist degree in Instructional Technology at Valdosta State.
