I have had the honor to teach for several years at the high school level (freshmen through seniors) before spending the last five years in middle school - three of which were eighth grade and now seventh grade.
Structured lessons that utilize PowerPoint for a whole host of uses - notes, engaging lessons, engaging activities, cooperative learning opportunities are included throughout, and there is always value and time for student responses!

I graduated from my high school in 2007, attended the University of Mount Union in Ohio and received my Bachelor's Degree in History with a minor in AYA Education. From there, I moved to Colorado and taught for five years while also attending the University of Colorado and receiving my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership.
I am a passionate history nut! I believe that it is my life's duty to pass on knowledge and emotions that I have to my students and to anyone who wants to learn! I am without a doubt a life-long learner and love sharing what I have and learning from anyone willing to share with me.
