I feel privileged and humbled to get my TpT store off and running in August 2020.
B.S. in Secondary Science Education; Minor in Chemistry and Technology
I continue to teach and manage a TpT store. As a small store, it is still considered a hobby by most. I had considered starting my own store in the past, but in the summer of 2020 people who knew my work encouraged me. I had, for the first time, considered leaving teaching all together. However, I was reminded by experienced teachers that at this point I can consider myself an expert in my field. I have always given my work away to teachers in my school and district. So now, it is truly humbling to see how far and wide the reach my work can have to help teachers and students. I rework resources every year, but this year I have re-created so much from scratch using my own knowledge and skill base. You really don't know what is in you or what you are capable of until you just do it. Such a blessing to see this come to fruition. - To know that each of us has so much to give. My resources may have a few typos here and there, but know I constantly revise and update to make it better. The countless hours spent working and giving will continue. Remember, the art and science of teaching takes time. I am blessed to be at a point in my career to be able to share beyond my classroom walls. We should all be looking to improve. That's what life is all about.
