TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught at elementary and middle school, both public and private. Currently, I am teaching 7th and 8th grade ELA at a private school. This is my 12th year of doing what I love!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in making expectations clear. Many of my writing assignments are written in a step by step format to give students the support they need to write a successful paper. For other subjects, I also strive for clarity, as well as a concise way of showing knowledge. While I think it's important to practice, I dislike "busy work" and try to make everything we do in class relevant, and hopefully, a little fun.
