TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught 7th and 8th grade Introduction to Public Speaking to build confidence in middle school students and polish their initial speaking skills. In 2020-2022 I taught 8th and 9th grade ELA at a rural school in Minnesota. In 2022 I started teaching 10th grade World Literature, Creative Writing, and Video Productions in Minnesota. I am currently working on completing my Master's degree in Communication and Composition studies from Mankato State University and hope to use this to teach college level courses in my high school.

I completed my undergraduate studies from Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, Minnesota. Here I completed more than 100 hours of placement time before I started student teaching. During my student teaching experience I was able to co-teach with the Special Education department to teach 9th grade ELA and Creative Writing. In 2022 I started my Graduate program through Mankato State University with the goal to complete my Master's degree in Communication and Composition.
