I currently teach high school and dual-credit math at an Early College High School in West Texas. I have been teaching since 2011, and have experience teaching 6th grade, 7th grade, 8th grade, Algebra I, Math Models and Applications, Advanced Quantitative Reasoning, College Algebra, and College Trigonometry.
I follow a blended/flipped classroom model where students take their notes individually for homework using pre-recorded lectures and work on a weekly playlist during class time that is personalized to a student's needs. Most of my time is spent working one-on-one with students during class time.

I have been married since 2006 and have 4 kids. My hobbies include knitting/crocheting, dyeing and spinning my own yarn, reading, and occasionally having the time to complete a paint-by-number kit. I currently teach at Roscoe Collegiate ISD in Roscoe, Tx - a school where most students graduate with an Associate's Degree or trade certification at no cost to them and are able to stay enrolled for an additional two years to work on degrees.
