My teaching style is characterised by a dynamic blend of pedagogical approaches from my ongoing Masters study in Education and is aimed at fostering deep learning and engagement among students. I prioritise creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every student feels empowered to participate actively in their education and achieve excellence through high quality resources and access to challenging academic language. Students to take ownership of their learning journey, encouraging critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. I leverage engaging and interactive multimedia tools, technology, real-world examples, and hands-on activities to make lessons interactive and relevant. Teaching during the online-COVID era also broadened my approach to include excellent use of online resource tools for research and flipped learning. This approach captivates students' interest and fosters a deeper understanding of the subject matter. I am committed to ongoing professional development and completing my own Masters research in education in reading and EAL. I regularly reflect on my teaching practices, seeking feedback from students and colleagues to refine and enhance my approach. Having taught in a variety of different schools including the UK and the Middle East, I actively promote diversity, equity, and inclusivity in your classroom, fostering a safe and respectful space where all students feel welcome to express themselves and share their perspectives. Above all, my teaching is fueled by a passion for education and genuine enthusiasm for English Literature and English Language.
