TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders for 10 years. I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Special Education classroom teacher. I have worked with students in pre-k through high school....but my primary passion is using the principles of ABA to help older learners with Autism acquire the necessary life skills to transition successfully into their post-secondary school life. I am currently teaching in a middle school self-contained classroom (grades 6-8).

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in fostering the highest level of independence possible for all of my learners. I set high expectations and work on adaptive life skills, vocational skills, and community skills to help my students succeed as adults.
