Aunt Minty's Education Place

I have taught in the public school system since 1998 in both brick-and-mortar and virtual online schools.

I am a facilitator. It is my job to define learning expectations for my students and then give them the tools they need to succeed.

The greatest honors I receive are the thank you's from my students. I cherish the notes I have found on my desk from my students over the years and am deeply honored when I receive an invitation to one of my elementary school student's high school graduation ceremony.

I have a master's degree from The University of Oklahoma, a bachelor's degree from Langston University, and an associate's degree from Tulsa Community College. I am certified in Elementary Principal, Elementary Education, Middle School Language Arts, and SPED Mild/Moderate

I was married to my husband, Chris Cagle, for 31 years when he passed away in 2019. We met during tech school while serving in the United States Air Force. We have two grown children who are in their thirties. Our son is following in our footsteps and is a member of the USAF. We are also adopted parents to a former student of mine from Honduras who is 21. My greatest joys in life now are my two grandsons, Axell and Vann. They are both half of my whole heart and I cherish each and every moment I get to spend with them.
