Ashton Grove- Education

Long-Term substitute for Algebra I and II, have taught 8th grade math and Algebra I. I have also served as the director of educational services for a youth group home and tutored students who range from 4th grade through College. I went back to teaching and taught 6th grade math through Algebra for 2 years before making the switch to ESOL. I am currently teacher ESOL in the Elementary school but have taught middle school ESOL for 3 years. This coming year will mark my 8th year teaching and my 5th year in ESOL. I am certified in Middle Level Math, Middle Level Social Studies, GT and will finish my ESOL certification this year! I am also an ESOL Coach, I am trained on helping teachers incorporate ESOL strategies in their classroom!

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Masters degree in Elementary Education and additional certifications in middle level Math and Social Studies, GT and currently working on ESOL certification. I have also had 2 years of ESOL Coach training, and extensive training with the WIDA standards.

I am the mom of 2 great boys and the stepmom of wonderful twin girls. The boys are Colton, 2 and Luke, 7. The twins are Morgan and Megan who are 12. We stay busy and I love making resources when I can that will benefit my students, my children or both!!
