TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught visual arts for 9 years to students in grades K-12. I have taught in various types of communities, including diverse urban populations as well as affluent suburban populations. Throughout my teaching career, I learned loads about myself, kids, child development, and the significance of art education. In addition to my regular teaching gigs, I also taught after-school art programs to provide further arts enrichment for kids. These days I am happy to be focused on creating my own personal artwork and providing private art lessons to students from my studio.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in providing kids with the foundation of art through the DBAE method (Discipline Based Art Education) with a blend of Choice Based Art Education.
