This is my 25th year teaching in northern California. I teach FINE ARTS to 600 elementary students at two schools. It is the most rewarding job.

I have a Master's Degree in Education with an emphasis in Mathematics Curriculum and Instruction.

Although this is my 25th year teaching, this is my 4th year teaching Fine Arts. I started my career teaching junior high school math. I consider MATH my first love, as I didn't pick up a paint brush until I was 40. As a math teacher, I taught 175 students a day in grades 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. With the birth of my third son I decided to move to elementary school to be with my children. I spent 8 years teaching 2nd grade and one year teaching kindergarten. My history of teaching so many different grades and in many subject matters have given me a wealth of knowledge and I am thankful that my teaching career has kept me learning.

I am a triplet born on 03-03 which is why I refer to myself as AMBER 3. If you don't find me with a paintbrush in hand then I am busy creating something else. I wrote and illustrated a children's picture book, which is soon to be published. I am a mom to three wonderful boys who always keep me guessing, and also the proud wife of a fire captain in CA. Since I am surrounded by all boys in my house, I do enjoy my fur babies, a Yorkshire Terrier, Princess Kalia, and my Standard Schnauzer Jude-y Lucy.
