In 2013 my class produced a Viral Video/PSA entitled "Dear Sea World", about the ethical use of Animals for Entertainment that aired internationally on CNN and inspired a CA State Assembly Bill to ban this practice. I feel the video exemplifies the type of "Critical Thinking", I try to instill in my students. I have 15 years of classroom teaching experience. I have been teaching Cinematic Arts, Multimedia and Video Productions in San Diego since 2007.
I truly believe learning is fun! I passionately try to inspire that in my students - I feel the best way to do that is to make sure the classwork in my room is purposeful, practical and relevant! Project Based Learning and Technology are the main focus of my curriculum.
