Anthony has 35 years of teaching experience in the Old Bridge Township Public School System in New Jersey. There he taught 6th grade mathematics and 6th through 8th grade drafting and design. He also taught basic math at Brookdale Community College in NJ. Linda has 30 years experience in the Old Bridge Township Public School System. There she taught 3rd grade elementary school, 6th through 8th grade social studies, mathematics and computers as well as HS Geometry to 8th grade advanced students. She also taught Algebra at Marlboro High School and basic math at Brookdale Community College.
Teaching mathematics in a project based learning environment where students discover Pi, collaborate to establish rules about triangles and to prove other important mathematical principles. Engaging students in a hands-on math lab atmosphere where students are self motivated, curious and eager to learn. Drafting and design students develop their skills in a project based creative environment. After learning basic drafting skills, students design their own projects where they are encouraged to be innovative and creative in their quest to solve design problems.
Anthony was a recipient of the Teacher of the Year Award (1988). Linda is listed in the International Who’s Who in Education (1987), the International Who’s Who of Intellectuals (1990), and the Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers (2005 – 2006).
Anthony Iorlano earned his Bachelor of Science Degree and Master of Education Degree in Technology Education from The College of New Jersey. Additional graduate studies were completed at Georgian Court University in Supervision and Curriculum which led to a Supervisor and Principal certification. Linda J. Iorlano earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Montclair State University in Education and European History. She completed courses for a secondary mathematics endorsement at Rutgers University and an elementary endorsement at Kean University. She then earned a Master of Arts Degree at Georgian Court University in Supervision and Curriculum.
In addition to his teaching experience Anthony was a project designer and drafter with civil engineering firms in New Jersey. He then served as a division leader for local summer camps. Summers are now spent enjoying sports, travelling and visiting family. Linda met Anthony while directing the middle school musical. He designed and built the set for the plays that she directed. She also worked at summer camps utilizing her teaching skills. Besides teaching, she also enjoys reading, playing the piano, needlework, crocheting and visiting family.
