I am a reading specialist who works to meet the needs of struggling readers while coaching teachers through best practices in reading aligned to the science of reading. Prior to this role I was an inclusion classroom teacher in 3rd-5th grade.
I believe in high expectations for all of our students. In my classroom you would see a great deal of differentiation to meet the needs of all learners. Students in my classroom are active and often do not want to switch to another activity.
