TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm working on my eighth year of teaching. I've taught 2nd, 3rd and now 4th grade. I studied graphic design in college, and love making organizers. I also love social studies and creating informational and instructional packets.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I'm a rather energetic and loud teacher. I have a booming voice and can use it to draw my students in and show my excitement about my teaching topics and concepts. I love to teach important ideas through discussions that get students thinking and asking questions.

I'm a National Board Certified Teacher for grades 2-5 (Middle Childhood Generalist).

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I earned my BFA in Visual Communication Design from the University of Washington. I then went to Seattle University to earn my Master in Teaching for Elementary Education.
