Andale Bilingual Classroom Resources

I have experience teaching in Dual Language and Bilingual Elementary classrooms in Illinois public schools. I have over 125 hours of training in the Gomez and Gomez Dual Language Enrichment Model. I have also taught Spanish as a Second Language in Preschool and Montessori schools, and elementary schools, as well as 10+ years of private tutoring K-12 and college students in English as a Second Language, Spanish, and other subjects. I was an educational program manager for over 5 years working with and supervising a diverse group of teachers, administrators, students, and parents.

I strive to make my classroom welcoming, and my teaching fun! I use creative, culturally relevant activities in all of my lessons.

I have an endorsement in English as a Second Language and Bilingual Certification from the American College of Education. I also studied Spanish, Mexican culture, and history in Cuernavaca, México at the Cuauhnáhuac Escuela Cuernavaca Instituto Colectivo de Lengua y Cultura, S.C. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education and the Spanish Language from the University of Wisconsin.
